Meet the VB Health Team

Vicki is a Registered General Nurse and Nurse Independent Prescriber, specialising in medical aesthetics and skincare.

Qualifying at Liverpool School of Nursing in 1992, Vicki has over 30 years' nursing experience and has worked in many different specialities of nursing including; Intensive care, Coronary care, Cardiac surgery and transplantation, General Surgery, Orthopaedics and Dermatology.

Vicki followed her passion of being an Aesthetic Nurse and opened VB Aesthetics in 2014. She provides a professional, personal and confidential service offering a selection of treatments and skin care regimes, helping her patients to look and feel great.

For over 20 years Dave has treated many thousands of patients over the North West region.

Dave graduated from Manchester Victoria University with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy and has worked within the NHS and Private Practice. He has undertaken many post graduate courses including Injection Therapy, and Sports Physiotherapy.

He has continued his professional development, working with Manchester and Salford Universities and many Professional and amateur sports organisations, including consultancy work for Sport England, screening of the Lancashire Cricket teams, Football Association academy screening, England under 18 Rugby Union squad and previous team physio to super league club Wigan Warriors.

Dave is also an Extended Scope Practitioner providing specialist Rheumatological and Musculoskeletal services to the NHS continuing to develop and support service delivery. Dave continues to offer consultancy support to local amateur and professional club associates.

Helen has over 25 years’ experience as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist originally training with Relate as a Relationship therapist seeing both couples and individuals.

She has extensive experience of working with clients with varying levels of anxiety, low mood or depression including complex mental health support, as well as comprehensive experience working with those struggling with alcohol or drug misuse.

Helen set up and ran the in-house staff counselling provision at HMP Styal and HMP Manchester for over eight years being nominated for the Butler Trust Award for services to the Ministry of Justice for her positive impact on staff’s mental well-being.

She has specialist training in trauma, and post-trauma stress, CBT, group work, family and young people. She offers a safe and supportive, confidential environment for her clients to explore their emotional wellbeing and work together to improve their day to day lives.

Sarah at Saddleworth Earwax Removal is an ear care practitioner and specialist provider of microsuction - the safest and cleanest earwax removal technique. She has been clearing her patient's ears for over 2 years!

She loves it when she clears somebody's ears and they can instantly hear again - it's so satisfying!

The procedure removes impacted earwax and reduces the associated symptoms, thus improving hearing and reducing pain.

Sarah is a specialist pelvic health physiotherapist and is passionate that women should receive the best possible care, at every stage of their lives.  

She graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2003 and worked in the NHS for over ten years, specialising in pelvic health physiotherapy in the latter years. 

She transferred to the private sector to cement and develop her speciality and has been based at a flagship private hospital since 2014, from where she continues to practice and enjoys established connections with top regional consultants. 

She loves what she does and what she can offer her patients because it really does work! 

Pelvic health physiotherapy can have such a positive impact on the lives of women, without the need for more invasive treatment, medication, or surgery. 

Vicky graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry from Salford University and brings over 25 years of extensive healthcare experience, including roles in both private health and NHS clinics, with a background working alongside physiotherapy and podiatry teams.

Vicky is passionate about helping people remain comfortable, mobile, and pain-free, with a strong belief in prevention over cure and the significance of regular foot health examinations and treatments. She has a keen interest in further developing skills in diabetes and dermatology.

Outside of work, Vicky cherishes time with family, which includes three children, four grandchildren, one husband, and a dog. Enjoyment is found in various crafts such as sewing and crocheting, although time for these activities is limited. Currently, Vicky is dedicated to developing a garden at home, despite not having a history of being green-thumbed.

Dr Adam Simon trained in London at University College and Middlesex School of Medicine, qualifying in 1993. He has worked in London, Manchester and New Zealand. He is the founder and Clinical Director of AJ Primus Healthcare, a thriving private GP service in Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Lancashire. Adam is Chief Medical Officer of Wellness International Ltd. He was one of the founders and Chief Medical Officer of Push Doctor Limited. Adam was a partner at Woodlands Medical Practice, Chadderton, a leading NHS practice from 2001 until 2016.
As well as his medical degree, Adam has a BSc in Epidemiology, a MSc in General Practice and achieved a distinction in his examinations for membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners.
Adam is committed to GP training and education having been for many years a GP trainer, training the new recruits into general practice and a clinical supervisor for medical students attending University of Manchester’s school of medicine.
Adam enjoys running, cycling and kayaking and is very involved in his local community.

Suzanne is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and works alongside Vicki and Lucy to provide all aesthetic treatments.

Having qualified at Leeds University, Suzanne is a registered nurse and independent prescriber.

​

With over 25 years of experience in the NHS, Suzanne's background focused on Oncology and Haematology working in various departments within the fields. She has worked as a nurse practitioner since 2012 looking after patients going through bone marrow transplantation and supporting them through the first two years. She also managed the nurse led long term follow up clinic thereafter.

Suzanne became interested in the field of aesthetics in 2013, training initially in anti-wrinkle injections and fillers.

Joanna is an Advanced Beauty Therapist with over 18 years' experience - she's been trusted with many faces and brows over the years!

Recently Joanna has been working alongside Vicki to develop our range of ZO Skin Health Facials.

​

She has years of experience styling brows with Benefit in Manchester and offers a range of treatments in clinic, from wax shaping and tinting, to brow lamination and lash lift.
