Dyslexia Assessments
The Dyslexia Hub
The Dyslexia Hub provides specialist diagnostic assessments for children, supporting families and schools to understand a child’s learning profile and the impact of dyslexia.
Sarah's aim is to offer clear answers, practical recommendations, and renewed confidence in how your child learns best.
Sarah works with:
-
Children and young people (age 8+) who are finding aspects of literacy unusually challenging.
-
Parents and carers who want clarity, reassurance and practical next steps.
-
Schools and educators looking for a clear picture of a learner’s strengths and learning needs.
Every assessment is:
-
Comprehensive – Using gold-standard psychometric assessments in line with SASC and BPS guidelines.
-
Personalised – Each report is written individually, highlighting unique strengths and areas of difficulty, with practical next steps.
-
Supportive – Time taken to explain the results clearly, answer questions, and ensure you leave with understanding and confidence.
Every assessment includes:
-
A detailed background questionnaire/interview
-
A 1:1 assessment session using standardised psychometric tests
-
A comprehensive diagnostic report identifying areas of strength and difficulty
-
Evidence-based recommendations for learning and classroom support
-
A digital and bound hard copy of the diagnostic report
Sarah Lansdowne
Specialist Dyslexia Practitioner
I’m a Specialist Dyslexia Practitioner and Speech & Language Therapist with over 18 years’ experience supporting children and young people with literacy and learning differences.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with learners across childhood and adolescence — from primary pupils taking their first steps in reading and writing to older pupils preparing for secondary education and exams. What I’ve seen time and again is that clarity brings confidence: when a child and the adults around them understand why reading, spelling, or written expression feels difficult, they can begin to make real, lasting progress.
